Operate the sandbox and re-ingestion path

Payne applies an accepted SQL artifact only to the manifest-declared finance scenario file. It rejects escaping paths, unexpected baseline bytes, and artifact checksum mismatches. It then runs the checked fixture and replaces the finance consumer’s upstream lineage in DataHub.

Recover a failed stage

1. Inspect the failed application stage and its safe error on the gate.
2. Verify PostgreSQL, the worker, and DataHub before changing state.
3. For a transient DataHub mismatch, use Retry application. Already verified stages are not repeated.
4. For a confirmed official-sandbox baseline conflict, reset only after accepting the destructive scope below.

[!WARNING] pnpm local:reset recreates the Payne local-live environment and its named PostgreSQL, artifact, sandbox, DataHub MySQL, and DataHub Elasticsearch volumes. It removes local gate history and local scenario state. Export anything you need before running it.

This path proves only the bounded local sandbox and fixture, not production.
