Use Node.js 22 or 24 LTS and pnpm 11. Install from the repository root with pnpm install --frozen-lockfile, then run pnpm dev for the fixture-backed app.

Keep changes focused and preserve the existing domain, route, state, component, Tailwind-token, and icon patterns. Use one component per file. Add a dependency only when an existing library or project utility does not solve the problem.

When behavior, configuration, an error, a schema, a command, or a sample changes, update its canonical documentation page and lastReviewedFor marker in the same change. Public docs must describe current observable behavior without referring readers to internal planning files.

Before submitting, run pnpm lint, pnpm typecheck, pnpm test, pnpm docs:validate, pnpm docs:smoke, and pnpm build. Run integration and local-live checks when your change touches their contracts and report any infrastructure-dependent check that was not run.
